3 Ways To Blast Fat Faster

Here are 3 ways you can blast fat faster and be on your way to a leaner, more attractive body that will turn heads.

1.       Drink More Water-  Being well hydrated flushes waste products out of the body and provides a better fat burning environment in the body.  Make sure to get the 6-8, 8 oz. cups of water every

day.

2.      Add Weight Training To Your Workout Routine-  Weight training actually slows down muscle loss that occurs naturally through the aging process.  If you can build a little bit of muscle, that is more tissue burning more calories 24/7.

3.      Change Your Workouts To Circuit Training-  With circuit training, you do 4-5 exercises back to back.  They can be all strength, all aerobic, or a mixture of both types.  Circuit training can burn up to 30% more calories than steady state cardio or strength straining alone.

 

10 Ways To Cut 500 Calories

 

To lose 1 pound, you either need to burn 3500 calories or reduce your intake by 3500.  The best way to do it is go halfsies.  Or, reduce your daily intake by 250 calories and burn an extra 250 calories each day. 

Here are 10 ways to cut 500 calories.

1.       Reduce your soda intake.   A 12 ounce soft drink has 150-180 calories.  Drink 3 of those a day and you take in up to 540 calories.  Gradually start to replace your soda with water until you have completely switched.

2.      Don’t eat in front of the TV.  According to the University of Massachusetts, we eat up to 288 more calories during a meal when watching TV.  Instead, turn off the TV and eat your meal.

3.      Opt for the doggie bag.  At the restaurant, when you meal arrives, ask for a doggie bag and immediately pack half of your meal to go home.  This could save you over 500 calories.

4.      The skinny on pizza.  Eat 2 slices of a medium thin crust veggie pizza instead of 2 slices of a large, meaty deep dish pizza.  This can save you 580 calories.

5.      Take a hike.  A 1 hour hike will burn 510 calories.

6.      Do an hour of circuit training.  This will cost you 540 calories.

7.      Take your own goodies in to the movie theater.  A large movie popcorn provides 1005 calories.  Pop your own and take it with you.  You’ll save 700 calories.

8.      Focus on your gut.  Actually, pay attention to how full you feel as you eat a meal.  Don’t focus on whether or not you cleaned your plate.  You can save up to 500 calories a day.

9.      Play games.  Play an hour of football or basketball with your kids and burn 500 calories.

10.  How much is that doggie in the window?  An afternoon of window shopping can burn 548 calories.
